Maria Denise Yala is an artist, storitela, and programmer whose work spans multiple disciplines to find new ways to tell stories of the human experience.

As a creative technologist, her recent experimental works explore the AIDS epidemic, featuring digital and hand-drawn illustrations, electronic literature, and augmented reality.

She holds a MDes. in Digital Futures from OCAD University, Canada and a BSc. in Computer Science from Drexel University, USA. She is a Senior Web Developer at Walk With Web Inc.
